Jovanović Confers with Head of Political Section at U.S. Embassy
The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović met today with Katharine Croft, Head of the Political Section at the Embassy of the United States of America in Belgrade.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on current issues of relevance to bilateral relations between Serbia and the United States, as well as on opportunities to further enhance cooperation between the two countries.
The interlocutors underscored the importance of launching the Strategic Dialogue between the Republic of Serbia and the United States of America as an important mechanism for deepening political dialogue and intensifying cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
State Secretary Jovanović addressed the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, placing particular emphasis on the importance of KFOR’s full presence and engagement in maintaining stability.
The meeting also addressed the upcoming Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade, with satisfaction expressed at the confirmation of the United States’ participation.
State Secretary Jovanović wished her interlocutor a successful tenure in Belgrade, with both sides expressing their readiness to continue regular dialogue and further strengthen relations between Serbia and the United States.
